We Are (finally) Getting Married
Richard & Hannah
02-12-23
Our Story
Hannah offered Rich a lift back to London from work on a Friday, he turned down his 13 min train ride in place of a 2.5 hour traffic jam and an 8 year relationship.
Richard Walters
He is kind. He is incredibly funny. He’s never on time. He lives in denial of that fact. He works smart, not hard. He is a man of few, but important words. He is very handsome, but knows it. He loves an elaborate cocktail. He once put salt in the rinse aid bit.
Hannah Gunn
She’s a driving energy, which is a real counter balance in the relationship. She is pretty but pretends otherwise. Her nationality is flexible. Her eyes are big but don’t actually work. She always thinks of others. She seems to know a lot about dishwashers. She’s probably the real reason Rich is late most of the time.
And finally you have found someone perfect

How it's going to go down...
Timings
The ceremony will begin at 2pm.
Food will be served around 4pm.
Bar closes 12:30am, party animals to be outta there by 1am.
What to Wear
We'll be dressing up but you don't have to. Just wear what makes you feel great at a wedding...its an East London wedding so think less tops and tails and more hipster chic. Plenty of space for coats, wellies, brollies etc.
Location
We are getting married at The Department of Life which is a hop, skip and a jump across a courtyard to the Clapton Country Club.
(Clapton..not Clapham).
Accommodation
There are a few hotels in the area but not many so book quickly. Try Airbnb if you want to be close, but honestly, it's easy enough to reach from anywhere in London. Some good locations on the same line are Liverpool Street & Shoreditch.
Parking
There is no parking at the venue so please use public transport. The nearest station is Clapton which is on the Overground (Orange line). Its a 3 min walk.
Bonus Wedding Fun
We'll be having a few drinks on Friday in Finsbury Park. The Crooked Billet is a great pub near the venue for anyone fancying a pre-wedding pint. And we'll be around on Sunday for anyone looking for a Bloody Mary and de-brief.
